Midweek Ride (Wednesday) Braidwood

7.30am – Meet at Caltex Pheasants Nest South – Fuel and a quick coffee.

8.00am – Depart for Bundanoon

9am – Arrive at Jumping Rock Café in Bundanoon for light breakfast/coffee

9.30am – Depart Bundanoon

11.20am – Arrive Braidwood. Fuel first at Shell cnr. Kings Highway & Wallace (220 kms to this point)

                    Then lunch from the Braidwood Bakery.

12 noon Depart – We are going to try the Nerriga Road which is still partially unpaved but very good depending on the weather.

1pm – Arrive Nerriga Hotel – Leg stretch and photo op.

1.15pm Depart Nerriga

2.25pm Arrive Penguin Head and take in the sea air.

2.40pm Depart

3.10pm Fuel at The Foodary Caltex in Bomaderry (another 175kms to here)

3.25pm Depart for a lovely run up the hill and through Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands.

5pm Arrive 7 Eleven Pheasants Nest North for Fuel and Goodbyes.

Lead – Spike    Shotty – Al Webster     Sweep - LeadDog

Approx 6.5 hrs Saddle Time and 500kms.

If conditions are poor for Nerriga Road we will go on down the Kings Highway and skip Penguin Head.
