Bio

1) How long have you been riding motorcycles and what was your first bike?  Have been riding for 59 years and first bike was a BSA Bantam 125cc, 12 years old and got my licence 54 years ago at 17 it was easy then at Kogarah Police Station, ride down there do a U Turn come back safely, park your bike and you will get your licence.
2) What made you buy a Harley?  When I was an apprentice at Qantas one of the apprentices had a 1942 WLA and got to ride it a couple of times and was instantly hooked.
3) What are you currently riding?  2021 CVO Road Glide and 1997 Heritage Springer.
4) How long have you been in HOG?  Been in HOG since 2014.
5) How long have you been in Sydney HOG?  Been in Sydney HOG Chapter since 2015.
6) What do you love most about Sydney HOG?  Getting out riding with the group especially on the longer rides where you really get to know one another.
7) Where is your favourite place to ride?  What is my favourite place to ride, well there are a few, the best ever ride was to Uluru hands down will never forget that one, Jindabyne another good one we like to do that as a three dayer a few times a year, also up to Walcha via Singleton, Dungog, Gloucester Walcha, Port Macquarie, Armidale and then back to Walcha and home an all time favourite.
8) What ride is on your bucket list?  Bucket List Ride there are two, Long Way Around and the other Sydney to Longreach, Mt Isa, Rocky and then home down the coast, the reason for that one was we were booked and supposed to go to the 100th Anniversary of Qantas, but COVID put a hold on that one with the borders being closed for so long.
9) Which bike is on your bucket list? I have my Bucket List bikes at age 71…
10) Any advice for new members? Ride and have fun with the Group there are a lot of great people who you can ride and go away with and no better way than with the Sydney Chapter, we have had some great Directors leading the Chapter with a good crew behind them and everyone puts in, that is the way you want it.
